LITTLE GEMS
"Little Gems" is a juried exhibition of miniature paintings held each year to benefit the Albuquerque Open Spaces program. Peggy has two paintings, "Monsoon Season" and "Cholla in Bloom", in the exhibition. The exhibition is held in the Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center and is open to the public for sales and viewing Tuesday through Sunday from 9am to 5pm.

A RUSSIAN NIGHT IN TAOS
The sixth gala event and auction benefiting the Taos Art Museum will be held in Taos on August 28, 2010. Donated artwork will be displayed for viewing and purchase during the month of August until the night of the banquet and live auction. The exhibition is housed in the Fechin House and Studio at the Museum. Peggy has two pieces in the benefit exhibition that are available for purchase in the silent auction during the month. Contact the Taos Art Museum for information and tickets to the gala and live auction on the 28th.

WYOMING PLEIN AIR 2010 ~ Cheyenne, Wyoming
Peggy will be participating in Wyoming Plein Air 2010, a two week event held in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Approximately sixty plein air artists will be painting en plein air throughout the Cheyenne area between August 1 and August 14. The paintout culminates with a quick draw and opening receptions and awards ceremonies at the galleries. Artwork will be displayed through the end of September. Peggy's work from the event can be seen at The Link Gallery in Cheyenne.

"A LANDSCAPE PERSPECTIVE - INTERPRETATIONS OF THE RIO GRANDE GORGE"
The Bureau of Land Management has invited 21 Northern New Mexico artists to display artwork in the gallery of the Rio Grande Gorge Visitor Center in Pilar, NM. The exhibition is part of a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the National Landscape Conservation System. A reception for the artists and public will be held at the visitor center on July 9th and will kick off a weekend of events in northern New Mexico at the Orilla Verde Recreation Area and the Wild Rivers Recreation Area. Peggy's piece, "Pilar in Winter" is included in the exhibition and is available for purchase through Wilder Nightingale Fine Art in Taos.

Plein Air Artists Colorado are staging their annual juried exhibition of members' best works at the prestigious Saks Galleries in Denver, Colorado. Four of Peggy's pieces have been selected for inclusion in the exhibition, "Banks of the Rio Lucero", "Weasel Tree and Red Willows", "Autumn in Crestone" and "Reflecting Pool".

"NOMADAS DEL ARTE EXHIBITION"
Nomadas del Arte brings together two hundred of the best artists working en plein air today to exhibit in one show. Each artist submits two plein air landscape paintings completed in any of the six southwestern states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas or Utah. Peggy will have two paintings exhibited in this year's Nomadas Del Arte Exhbition at Southwest Gallery in Dallas. "Dry Grass and Russian Olives" and "Orilla Roja" are both paintings of the landscape near her home in Taos, New Mexico.

"ART AUCTION 2010"
The jury committee for The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts has selected two of Peggy’s paintings, “Hondo Wash Day” and “Orchard House”, for inclusion in The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts’ biennial fundraiser scheduled for the month of February, 2010. Bidding opens on Saturday, February 6, 2010 and a volunteer will be in the gallery during regular Museum hours to provide information and bid numbers.
The Silent Auction of more than 450 works of art will culminate on the evening of Thursday, February 25, from 6:30 to 9 PM, and will include hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. On Saturday, February 27, cocktails at 6 PM will be followed by a gala dinner and Live Auction of 35 lots conducted by auctioneer Sarah Friedlander of Christie’s, New York. Tickets for both the Silent Auction evening and the Live Auction and dinner event may be purchased from the museum. For those unable to attend one of the Auction evenings bid numbers may be obtained at no cost and advance bids may be placed on items in both the Silent and Live Auctions.
Proceeds from the biennial Art Auction support the exhibition, education and acquisition programs of The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. "Art Auction 2010" is sponsored by Merrill Lynch.
